Hey guys new to the forum!

    Question...

How much gryphon can you use at once?

    I shot 15lbs... Awesome!

Also... Wondering the legalities I was told that it's fine to shoot that much, fun to use and get rid of old appliances!

I wouldn't do that, but I don't know the legalities. Its a safety thing.

Everyone has seen that video of shrapnel from an object? Had some acquaintances put more than a few pounds in an old truck, shot it from 100 or so yards I guess, and pieces of the truck shattered a windshield and a side window of vehicles parked behind them.

So I suppose fill your boots Darwin.

Hi and welcome to the forum! Thanks for choosing our product, we're grateful for your business and support.

The Explosives Act and Regulations govern the manufacture, sale, possession, and use of explosives including binary targets. Generally any explosive to be manufactured or used must be authorized by the government, and combining multiple targets together constitutes unlicensed manufacture of an unauthorized explosive contrary to Section 6 of the Explosives Act. While the 15 pounds must have been awesome you might not want to advertise it.

With respect to placing multiple targets together or using the targets in any other fashion than what the instructions state, we have been advised by the Explosives Regulatory Division that this is also unlawful as they claim it to violate Section 21 of the Explosives Act and Section 28(c) of the Explosives Regulations, 2013. Our opinion differs on this subject and is something we plan to examine in the future, though for the time being our recommendation is strictly to use the targets as intended in accordance with the printed instructions on the label.

It is also dangerous to use the targets for destroying any sort of object due to the shrapnel created, and it creates an environmental concern with the mess that can rarely be (or rarely is) cleaned up completely.

"Use how you should, or lose it for good!" We hope you continue enjoying our product safely and responsibly. Thanks for dropping by!

    This for first post?

If you read anything on the containers - it would have mentioned how you shouldn't do pretty much everything you said you did.
Use it for what its made for, a reactive target. Not as a play thing. Putting it inside of objects - especially metal appliances is a great way to get hurt.

Whoever told you that, don't ever take legal advice from them...also, maybe read the label, it says right on it not to do all of the things you just said you used it for...so the answer to your question is literally printed on the product...lol. you're not the only one to mix the contents of multiple targets, but if you get caught, it's your ass...and 15lbs would likely attract some attention even in very rural areas, you best be in the middle of ####ing nowhere if you're going to be doing that...
