    If we end up with 2 new rifles(T81) that both accept AK mags. That would be great. Pistol mags and lots of different manufacturers

    If not already in, a maple leaf would be nice on the receiver and/or the stock.

    T81 don't accept AK mags however

    Since this is going to be an all-made-in-Canada rifle I would hope that the mfgr has experience making firearms and are familiar with how the receivers and bolts are heat treated. Also ensuring they are not over gassed like the CSA 223 models were.
    I think the nitride barrels will be a good compromise to chrome lining and keep the costs down. A piston gun is made for shooting corrosive

    I'd take nitride any day over the low grade chrome lining that we'd get in North America.

    As a matter of fact you might as well nitride the whole gun, which may be the case judging from West Rifle's picture in the second post.
    Canada is done, save the West.

    5.45 would be awesome!!!! Would definately pick one up if they came out in that calibre!!
