What did the Americans think of your Canadian black rifle?

Well done! Glad the rifle worked well, that is a pretty good test I'd say.
Looking forward to seeing more of these rifles in competitions.

Long Distance is BETTER than being there
Yes AR's are definitely the rifle of choice down south. It took a couple stages for anyone to realize something was different about my rifle. First thing guys noticed was the lack of a traditional top charging handle when clearing guns behind me. This caused some momentary confused looks, followed by "OOOooohhh I like the side charger". At that point I usually launched into a brief lesson on Canadian gun laws and why this is in my opinion THE gun to have up here. Everyone who handled it pretty much got the impression that it was pretty much equivalent a high end side charging AR. My configuration isn't super light, but the heavy stock makes it balance extremely well. I'll upload some more videos tonight or tomorrow of mowing down some plate racks off hand. The muzzle break, rifle length gas, JP buffer and balance of my rifle pretty much completely eliminate muzzle movement when shooting off hand, making quick transitions on the plate racks a breeze. Overall honestly I would say rifle is probably my weakest gun of the 3 (despite being my favorite... funny how that works haha), but the MV definitely allows me to take full advantage of the ability I do have.

Nice video and well done!
Ounces leads to pounds, pounds lead to pain.
Light, strong and cheap - pick two.
Here's Stage 2. This was actually the first stage we shot, so a little shaky on the shooting compared to the other video. I struggled on the rifle swinger...
