    Mosin Sniper in Action.

Something I came across while watching updates on the situation in Aleppo. I guess the Mosins Snipers have been put back to work 55 seconds in.

That's quite common use for them actually, whether or not its a feature of their design or an official use for them I'm not sure but they are used like that by almost all their users from what I see. Quite a bit of this same technique is used by both sides on the Ukrainian front as well.

I haven't seen anyone from the non-western world use sights with any grenade launcher. It always seems to be a waist of ammo.

I'm impressed that the old PU scopes are still holding up after all this time.

AGS-17 in the video. And primary use for it is indirect fire. The principle of laying it for indirect fire are the same as mortar BTW.

Majority of soviet indirect fire system have a direct fire capability.

That Mosin looked in remarkably good condition.

Of course, that won't last. It will be in rough shape in no time.

These rifles are built like tanks. If some survived WWII why can't they survive Syrian war.....
