The reason I'm anxious about the price is that I'm married. $3995 is way cheaper than $4000. 4K is 4K but $3995 I can sorta round down
    as in
"Honey-I'm looking at a rifle thats a bit over 3K ......." But it's a totally different conversation if it starts at 4K

I'm married to an incredible woman but I doubt she's ever spent more than a few hundred on a personal item for herself.

Ya man I'm married too and I know exactly what you mean. I understand that language lol.. I'm just guessing if it's the action your after your gonna be better off with the hunting version 1727. Price wise anyhow is all I'm saying. It was really tough for me to shell out this kinda money I had saved together on one single rim fire. I hand t even held a 1727 before. I took the chance. On pictures you don't know really how nice it is but once you try the action it's a little exciting lol. Only part that gets me is that these guns do not have a better better than their standard 1710 and 1712 series rifles. So the price increase is the action and lighter trigger. It's a biiiig jump in price.
