    S&J Hardware AR15 BBLS

So looking like we are going to tool up to do AR15 BBLS again in the new year

what is the hot ticket for 2017 ?

These would be 1/7 556 nato chambered and most likely be carbine lenght

last run we did was in 2015 am we did 10.5 11.5 14.5 Gov profile .750 at the gas block.

we were asked alot about 12.5 and doing 20 inch

depending on feed back we may look at doing the same run of 10.5 11.5 14.5 carbine has system,

These would be Controlled gas nitride finish ( in black)
M4 feed ramp bbl ext finish in nickle boron.
    1/7 twist
    556 chambered
    .750 at the gas block
4140 steel low pro gas block
    stainless steel carbine gas tube

100% of all parts will be made in Canada, right down to the box it comes in.

    S&J

Personally, I'd like to see some lightweight profiles. The market is flooded with inefficient Gov. profiles and heavy barrels. I think you'd have a real opportunity with lightweight, continuous taper similar to some American manufacturers. Also, using a carbine gas length on a 20 inch barrel is wasted potential, no? Why not rifle length or midlength?

So like the old cschool car 15 and gen 1 c8 profile
What if we did that but stuck with .750 at the gas block

Not totally familiar with the gen 1 c8 profile but it's nice to do action sports with lighter barrels. I would aim for 1.5lbs with gas block if possible.
