My first handgun six years ago was a Heritage Rough Rider .22LR/.22 mag. (Two cylinders.)
A real shooter and the action is so nice and crisp. Sweet factory trigger.
Back then it cost $199.00 Canadian.
I would not consider selling it.

These have been great little guns. The issue mentioned earlier in this thread first we've encountered after a few hundred sold. Normaly, guns in this price range have a much higher 'issue' rate.Originally Posted by 3strokes

How about the parts availability concern mentioned earlier?
Shouldn't be as these are now Taurus owned and that is the same warranty centre in Canada that Ruger uses.

I had the ejector problem also. I purchased 2 ejector rods from Heritage and one was already broken in the package.
I then purchased a 4" ejector rod for the Ruger Single Six. No plastic and just needed to be shortened a touch.
I have 2 of these and other than the ejector rod they have been great.
