A complete rifle would easily be a su16 killer
The wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

    Complete Rifle:

-Integrated picatinny rail on upper receiver.
-18.5" barrel with threads for FH
    -M4 feed ramps.
-Lower receiver threaded to accept an AR15 style stock tube.
-Lower receiver width for regular AR-15 pins (the original plastic AR-180B had a wide pin set if I remember correctly.)

    Nice to have:
    -User removable barrels (ala AR15).

This would easily be the Canadian NR Black Rifle for which all others are judged against; a constant 'sold out' item.

Yup with the already proven Spuds hitting the Canadian market this seems like bad timing on Canam's part. On the other hand if Canam focused on making 180 uppers and mating them to imported Spud lowers, now I would definitely have some money to free up for that.

complete rifle would sell...lowers are limited to a handful of owners. Why would anyone buy one if they didn't have the rest?

Because they are only meant for the ones with a rifle

high costs spread amongst the few. more options means lower pricing equals more sales.

the NR black rifles are a grow8ng market share.

PS. There is nothing wrong to build new gun based on 180B, like "modern hunter", but it should stay away from 180 as far as possible.
The Nodak lowers can use 180b or 180 uppers. The uppers are unregulated and don't change what the lower is. The lowers are approved with this knowledge already well established.

If Canam builds their lower to use 180b or 180 uppers it should be much the same.

I know hind sight is 20-20.But is there a reason the DA50 was not designed to fit this lower.
This would have given you 200 customers to off set this 180B project.
