I'm all for this idea. There is a thread that I have favourited at work about the x25 1911 project someone made. Love the 1911, and have been contemplating getting a tokarev for a long while. Combine the two and I'm pretty much in for at least one.

How about a 80% tt33 receiver

I'd be happy if I could find a disconnector to replace my failed one. It is an interesting idea to make the Tokarev TT-33 a little more modern. I have wondered what they would look like if they had the continuous improvement that the 1911 has seen.

That is an m57, not a tt33. I've emailed him though to ask if can get tt33 grips. If more people email him maybe he will get some made up.
are they not basically the same frame?

The Tokarev made by Zastava, the M57 and M70A have a longer grip and hold one more round, the mags are obviously longer too.
Following...been interested in this series for quite some time and looking at different ideas..I like where this heading
So rumor has it you can't fix stupid..but apparently you can shoot it in the nuts with a pepper ball.
