Any SKS or SVT-40 crates coming in by any chance?
Svts are long gone now. They have gone from a $300 to $450.00 gun in 2 years. I doubt we will see these again.

The mosins will most likely be the next gun that goes crazy in the next year or two and the sks will be not far behind.

These have gone the way of full wood enfields.

once every now and then there's some place proposing to sell mosin crates, last time not long ago was marstar for about the same price if i remember correctly. What i never understood is why would anyone go for it !? break down the price including shipping and it comes down to about 200$ a piece... and that's well, the price pretty much everywhere (if you know how to shop) where you can get just well 1..2..3.. or 5 for the same price. Why would anyone want to sunk 4K into getting 20 without any saving what so ever is beyond me. Ok i confess, i would like to have the wooden crate lol so i'll purchase en empty crate without spending 4K. Say what you want, this is just my honest opinion. I buy like a mad man when a price is good, but this aint one of them for me.

Do the crates themselves constitutes a "safe storage", or would they have to be properly "locked" ?

With production of between 13 - 14 million I don't see these accruing much value as collector pieces in the near future. Having said that - you do get a lot of rifle for $200 and if you are a fan of the 1891/1930 (or maybe downright fanatical) I suppose the old adage of "the more the merrier" could apply if deciding to purchasing a crate of these.

I think it'd be a deal if it included 200 rounds of ammunition per rifle.
