Just visited your site, and was wondering what I'm missing here.. $600 for a gun you can get for $200-250 everywhere? Is there something special about these?

There is definatly something special about it.
its a 1949, you might a do some research before posting.
They are manufactured in 1949 which i believe was the first year of production and are pretty sought after.
There are some differences from other rifles as well, only one i know of is they had spike bayonets vs blade which most if not all soviet sks have.
I can see bright pink in OPs future.
