Hello, we are still looking at the fall for a folding butt stock option, an adapter to accept an AR buffer tube as well as a carbon fibre forend.

Will the carbon fibre forend and folder be an accessory that can be purchased separately once released?

I have a couple questions about the ESS. I am really liking the functionality of this design.

Will the folder fit an existing ESS chassis purchased today?
Will the folder lock to the side?

What all colors will the ESS be available in?
Does the current adjustable cheek piece fit LH shooters?

    Thanks

The plan is to have a folding buttstock. Not an adapter. So you would need to purchase a new, folding buttstock.
If we were to add an adapter in between, the LOP would be too long.

Yes, the buttstock is planned to lock in folded position.

    Colours: Black and FDE

Yes, the cheek piece will work perfectly for left handed shooters.

Nice. Looking to order an ESS Chassis for Savage 3.850" action once the folding stock is available

I just received my EES with 15 rail for my T3 Varmint 223. I must say, that I'm impressed with the design, quality and finish. Mounted the SWFA scope in a new set of Burris XTR Signature rings on an MDT rail for a Tikka. I made a stop pin for the rail from a bolt, a bit over kill for a 223, but I figured why not.

I'm also pleasantly surprised with the MDT that is quite generous in the box length as it will allow me to seat out to a max of estimated OAL of 2.540+. You will see I had to mod my Accurate Arms mag by filing a groove infront of the bullet to increase the oal capacity of the mag. MDT mag on the left.

Any updates on the folding stock for the ESS chassis? I don't want to make a purchase of chassis and stock only to have the folding stock release soon after.

I scanned the thread quickly, so I apologize if I'm repeating an already answered question.

LH SA M700 to be available this fall? Carbon fore end fall ETA also?
