I get 2-3' GROUPS WITH MY NORCS using the Hirtenberger ammo ONE OF THOSE RIFLE WILL PUT HANDLOADED 168GR MATCH reloads into,1.2" 5 shot groups at 100yds. The Norinco steel case stuff is a bit more accurate but was doing bad things to my extractors so I gave up on it.

Acceptable battle rifle accuracy, reliable, good enough for the zombie apocalypse

I could not recommend it. 3 shot group sizes off a bench with front and rear bags were atrocious at 5" to 7" at 100m!!! I shot it through a M14S (M305) and a Savage Axis. For reference, the M14S typically shoots 2" to 3" with Norinco bulk steel case 308 147gr, 1.5" with Federal Power Shok 150gr. The Axis can print sub 1" to 1.5" with Power Shok 150gr.
I bought a case of this and wife gets same 5-7 groups with her vanguard camilla. sad times. guess ill have to hold onto it until the next purchase.

Why is this so inaccurate? Loaded too hot or not hot enough?

I get really good results out of this from my FNAR, strangely better than any commercial loads I've tried in it. Very strange to see people getting such poor results.

It does seem that many many more people get good results via accuracy then not tho...

Anybody have any of the berdan primed spent HB cases they would sell to me? I live in the GVRD of BC. Would be happy to pay a lot more than than the value of scrap or trade for stuff etc... I have a huge collection of firearms type stuff from all over the map, and other things. Just pm me if interested.
Cheers (sorry to go off topic sorta TradeEx, that request includes you too!)

I was unfortunate enough to buy a couple crates of Hirtenberger from another vendor that was advertised as Boxer primed and turned out to be berdan. but other than that yeah its decent ammo.
