The start of Industry day at the Range

So as most would expect the wait for getting to the range can be a very painful thing.
You get to the bus stop and complain that the bus is not here yet or it is here and why are we not already leaving.

Well this is always the case but not really all that bad. As you can expect with a room full of gunnies you will be able to find something to talk about.

What happened to louthepou and I was a bit different.

Our bus drive took a wrong turn. This in itself if not the end of the world. But in trying to correct the problem he managed to get the bus stuck in the dessert about 2Km from the range!

So off the bus and start the hike (Although a short one) At some point more cars were coming and the feeling of playing hockey in the street as a child was returned to me. With a yell of "Car!" we would part and allow the cars through. The. The cars started picking up people and offering them a rides to the range.

Although not the best start to the day it was a memorable one for sure.

    I'll add my perspective.

I, along with GT and his buddy, were in the line a ways back from Fremen and Lou.
As the line snaked around a door and down the stairs, some guy that had been behind us managed to slime his way past in the throng of people.
Later, they are filling the bus to the last possible space.
Sure enough, Mr Slippery makes it on and I do not. Missed it by one spot.

Yes, I found it tremendously amusing that he did not actually gain anything!

The scrape marks on the side of the bus should have given pause.... Hope things improve!

Quit being so damned awkward in front of the camera, BTW. At least you've stopped looking at the ground all the time.
