    Figures...I just got a new Mk.III in the spring (2016), my first pistol, and then this comes out...Oh well, still a fun shoot!

    One site sponsor had them priced that high, but the blued model can be found for under $600.00.

    Looks good. What's the story with the 'mag disconnect'? What's it do?

    I'll probably still with my Mk.II s. Once you're used to them disassembly/re-assembly isn't bad.

    Mag disconnect means you cannot fire a shot without a magazine inserted. States like California require a mag disconnect before they can be added to the roster of state approved guns.

    Thanks for the info. So you can drop single rounds in if you have a mag. inserted, but not with no mag? That seems California level stupid alright.

    Stanless victory is $519 at cabelas. The blued ruger is said to be $600. I have seen the stainless priced at $900.
