Scope rail mounting

Hi, just received my 20moa ATRS 1 piece scope rail base and ATRS 30mm rings
I just had a silly question, many manufacturers recommend having loctite between scope rail and receiver before torquing to prevent moisture to get trapped between the two, what's your take on this?

By the way i am ultra satisfied, i had got some shoe wax and JBweld expecting to bed the rail, when individually torquing either only front or only rear, there is no spring whatsoever on either sides. Perfect fit!

Our rails are made from either 416 stainless steel We salt bath nitride some to make them black. The light weight rails are made of 7075 Aluminum and are hard anodized.
None will rust.
If high moisture is a possibility something to stop it from attacking the action would make sense.
We recommend BLUE Loktite for the rail to action screws to prevent them from loosening but you should not need to use it anywhere else such as ring screws or crossbolts.

I installed one of these rails about a month ago, same review... perfect fit! Bar none best quality fit and finish I have seen!

I blue loctited screws and torqued them to 25inch/lbs

No worries loctite would never touch rings or crossbolts

On your personal rifles, nothing between rail and action to seal i presume?

My personal rifles fall into 3 catagories. ATRS brand bolt action which are all made of 416 Stainless steel and salt bath nitride finished, so no worries on rust there, hence no need to Loktite more than just the threads.
Older mostly Sako rifles that I have made rails for and then have epoxied them in place due to the actions tolerances, or AR style rifles that are made of 7075.

In reality the rifles I use the most and that are likely to see any environmental issues are ATRS made. Seldom do any of my non ATRS rifles stray far from the vault.

Well just imagine how spiffy our rifles are if you are impressed with our rails.
