Just to be clear the $9000 US price that I referred to was for the boxed 2 gun set which included the 150th anniversary Python and the matching officer's model 1911.
Having said that if this gun sells at or near 11K then it isn't/wasn't over priced. As always, fair market value is whatever someone is prepared to pay today.
As an aside, I can't find any reference to these pythons ever being offered by Colt on their own. Were they or would this be a gun from a set that got split up sometime in the past.
