    T97 Gen 2's?

When will these new "Gen 2"s be available in Canada? They look wicked.

Any word on whether or not they fixed the magwell/feedramp issues of the t97?

I could deal with awkward ergonomics, but not a gun that doesnt work. Not fitting mags it is supposed to be designed for and stovepiping rounds hard enough to push the bullet back in/having gunpowder come out was not acceptable to me. Unfortunate since I liked shooting it when it worked, and thought it was a decent design once I put an FTU on it.

    CSC had one for $1199

Still more expensive than a FTU T97...

I got a great deal on a T97 a year ago - $775 shipped, no tax (on EE) and added an FTU. I would never sell it for the Gen 2. There's not enough improvement. However, mine did have the tightest magwell; it only accepted the Norinco mag and barely fit the LAR. Certainly not a drop free.

    Here's mine:

    Magwell problem solved!!
