My brake came loose on my Cadex

I looked in the Cadex manual for torque specifications and can't seem to find anything on the brake. Can someone tell me how much torque to apply to the side screw?

It's just a pinch bolt, I tighten it down enough so I can't rotate the brake by hand then anothe 1/2 turn. Never had an issue. The brake itself shouldn't bottom out and if it does just rotate it out 180 until it's indexed correctly then tighten the bolt as discussed.

    Hello Sir

Sorry to hear that the muzzle brake came loose. The torque for this screw is 45 Lbs/in.

Make sure to screw your muzzle brake all the way in, then back off the amount needed to be leveled (less than one complete turn) and then secure the screw to 45 Lbs/in. I know it might be tempting to use more torque but be careful as the screw could snap and get stuck in the brake so resist to the temptation. We recommend blue Loctite on all screws of the rifle in order to prevent this from happening.

If you ever experience any problem I'm always one call away. Cell phone 514-821-7983 (during regular working hours please (unless urgent) and sometimes on weekends too if I'm not fishing )

    Sorry again for the problem.
