Where to shoot non restricted?

I own several restricted pistols and shoot at my local gun range
I haven't got my hunters training course and probably won't do hunting
I do have a Mossberg 500 shotgun.
QUESTION:
Can I take it out in the sticks and start blasting without killing wildlife?

Yes you can take it out in the sticks and shoot it, obviously if on private land you need permission from the land owner. Crown land you're good to go, make sure there aren't any no discharge bylaws in place for the area and shoot safely.
