wow. That is super cool. I'm sure I can buy a better gun for that price though. Any advantage to a $900 SKS?

It is an SKS in a Scorpio chassis. Also, they take LAR mags, so you get 10 rounds instead of 5.

Its a cool concept... But $900 can buy me an accurate rifle.
10/10 on coolness, however its an easy pass for me

Not many $900 NR looks this good...But unfortunately people will always look at it as "just a SKS".
We will see how supply and demand makes or breaks this rifle.

Five years ago if you asked me that putting a $150 SKS into a chassis and selling it for $900 would be the future, I'd laugh my ass off.

Then again, since five years, CZ 858 prices have nearly doubled due to idiots buying in a seller market, so this kind of abomination would make sense. Really a shame though. Someone, somewhere is putting stacks of cash into their breast pocket and giggling at us.

I handled one and it felt heavy and awkward. Never shot it though.

It is substantially lighter than a stock SKS.

All the kodos for bringing in this interesting concept. I think it's fairly kool etc. But, if you dont have $900 atm its not too hard to do a few Mods on your Old SKS to make it more 'Modern', if that's your thing. Like the bolt mod & chop & thread barrel basically cost nothing but time, & some basic tools. Then there is the AK type mag release & duck bill mod. Ad in a Tapco or similar stock still a wayz under $500 I'd most likely buy one of these if they come on 'Sale' to around $6/650.

Half a pound lighter than a stock SKS, able to use 10 round detach pistol magazines and with an integral rail for optics. One drawback is that it looks cumbersome to take down, which is largely mitigated by using non corrosive ammo and cleaning once per case of ammo (which won't affect the performance of the SKS one bit)

This isn't a rifle for SKS purists, nor is it for the guy that wants to pop it in a Tapco stock and use 5 round duckbill magazines. It's for someone that wants an adjustable stock, 10 round magazines and use a red dot, scope or put on adjustable aperture BUIS. To get all that by just adding onto an SKS you are going to be into the same or higher price.

It's all about what you want.....Like most things!
