No chance O'Leary wins. Too many actual conservatives hate him. And since that poll in January that saw him even up with Justin, he has totally embarrassed himself nationally and in the CPC leadership race. He may have signed up 35,000 supporters, but that's nowhere near enough to win a party with about 150-200,000 members. It will be Bernier (risky choice, the wild swing for a home run) or O'Toole (the safe bet).

I wouldn't count Sheer out just yet either.

OTTAWA -- Kevin O'Leary is pulling out of the Conservative leadership race to back rival Maxime Bernier, a source tells CTV News.
Reached by CTV Power Play host Don Martin, O'Leary wouldn't confirm nor deny that he is pulling out. He said the final few weeks of a race are when deals are made.
Bernier is set to hold a press conference about the developments in the leadership race at 4:30 p.m. today.

I agree, I am a bit surprised about him endorsing Maxime's somewhat libertarian views almost completely.

If Maxime can rally win a lot of seats in Quebec there is a very good chance JT is history.
We love Max in rural Alberta.

In any case, now that O'Leary is out of the race, I'm voting for Maxime as leader.
I hope he can deliver those seats in Quebec. I think Westerners will like him too.

I also respect O'Leary for dropping out b/c he says/realizes he can't deliver Quebec.
His support of Maxime will be a HUGE help. He's very social media savvy.
