Bernier will never win an election. Well, he's gonna win his riding, but at the general election, he's gonna get squashed like a bug. Any CPC member should vote for whoever can beat trudeau, and that's just not maxime bernier.

It's a damn good start, whether any of it comes to fruition if he eventually becomes PM is yet to be seen. I still want to see a day when handguns are classified as non-restricted and I can purchase one without a rPAL for predator defence, plinking, and small game hunting. But of all the potential CPC leaders, Maxime Bernier is definitely at the top of my list. He's talking the talk, let's just hope when the time comes he'll walk the walk as well!

Not in a million years would I vote for that tool. Watch and shoot.
Definitely pay your $15 to be eligible to vote in the may nominations,
But don't overlook Kellie Leitch either. She has even more good values in her platform.
(No political connection to her. First time party member as of two days ago).
And Check out Rebelmedia.ca
My vote goes to Steven Blaney... Did a lot for us CZ858 and Sig owners.

Is there anywhere he gives more detail on those platform points? Looking through his other platform positions, there are plenty of positions I agree with in principle, but I've learned a long time ago that I can agree with a politician's basic platform plank but when it came to actual policy/implementation, I completely disagreed with it and felt it was counterproductive enough to the point that I'll actually start thinking maybe I should have voted for the opposition.
Right now his website feels like an online newspaper that put up the headlines but forgot the actual news stories. Headlines look like I may want to subscribe, but I won't know for sure till I see some content and determine the quality of the writing
I realize that doesn't make him different than most politicians, but anyone who wants my vote is going to need to give actual detail. As I said, realized a long time ago I can't base any voting anymore on just a couple lines of platform statement.
