Hello Zahal , I hope you can explain something for me since I truly don't know the answer. I was going to order a T shirt and a few other cool products but I wanted to research who I would or wouldn't be insulting . The term Infidel was originally used to describe someone who was not a Catholic Christian ( such as Muslim ) and Kafir was used by Muslims to describe someone who did not believe in Islam. This is the over simplified definition but if I am correct, what is the significance of wearing a shirt with Infidel on it. Am I totally wrong ? Thanks in advance.

Hi AMMustangFrank, well the shirt could be insulting to some but that depends on the way of looking at it and some sense of humor. You are correct with the origin of the word. The direct translation of Infidel to Arabic or Hebrew is Kafir/كافر(Arabic) or Kofer/כופר(Hebrew) and vice versa that making them all to have almost the same definition(non believers) but every one of them referring to the others. So the idea of the T-shirt is to mock those who want to hurt you just because of your "infidelity" by being proud of it. The English "Infidel" is not meant to represent non Catholic Christians but is a translation of the Arabic word "Kafir" meaning non Islam believers (same with Hebrew), just to make sure it's clear for the readers of the shirt .

T-shirt arrived today. I put it on and immediately had the urge to climb Masada and defend it against Romans.

Only criticism of the t-shirt I can make is the neck is just this side of being a bit too big. Probably should have ordered one size smaller. Outside of that it kicks hard core ass. Can't wait to wear it.
