There was talk at one point of a special edition 77/ in .327 Federal. Have you heard anything of that?

No, i hadn't. And, given they've suspended the whole 77/ (rimfire action) series, its doubtful at this point. Ruger has been hard to pin down for anything lately.

Sources from the US indicate 70 rifles from the first production run which was sometime ago. Likely similar numbers in this current run. Based on the past year history these 44 Mags will number some where in the low 200s

That's nice that they'll be so rare. We'll have to baby them and be sure to keep the original boxes etc.

Does anyone have plans for a scope on theirs? I have a S&B 6x42 Klassic and a set of 30mm rings waiting here.
