Enforce Tac 2017: Heckler & Koch HK433 and 300 Blk offerings

First of all, this is Enforce Tac, and the audience is supposed to be limited to LE/Mil only. I got the wrong impression it is part of the IWA, but it is not. It is a very small show. We should expect to see more at IWA.

HK puts their new items inside glass boxes behind a row of lights, it was horrible to take pictures with because one side of the box is completely backlighted.

Anyways, they have both HK 416 and G36 in short barrel in 300 Blk / 300 Whisper displayed. Aide from the markings, HK337 for 300 blk HK416 and HK 237 for 300 blk G36, there is not much different on the surface. The G36 or HK237 has a NATO magwell as well as a face shield stock with a removable cheek piece. The HK337 was put in a bad position inside the box, none of the pictures turned out acceptable. So we only have a picture of the HK237.

The new HK 433 is of course in display, which is not a secret anymore by this time. The model in display is pretty final, albeit of a few 3D printed parts. The lower receive is polymer with changeable pistol grip, which the customer can order the paddle style G36 release or the HK416 push button. The gut is supposed to be an adaptation of the G36 / HK416 system, aka short stroke push rod with a rotating multi-lug bolt. My guess is that the bolt carrier will be more similar to G36 in geometry, which is much more production efficient than the AR/HK416 style. Overall, the HK433 is supposed to be a product in between the HK416 and G36 price-wise. According to the HK rep, the HK433 will be put into the production and available for order soon, in concurrency with G36 and HK416.

Much more effort is put on the folding adjustable buttstock design. The hinge piece appears to be aluminum wielded to the upper receiver box.

And courtesy of B&T, Rotex adaptable flash suppressor, 2 position gas block similar to HK416A5.

And a gratitude picture of the MG5A2 with a pretty clever adjustable stock.

That S shape stock is for ballistic face shield. It is popular in Europe but they are almost never ever seen in North America.

If you are not using face shield, you can put on that little plastic cheek piece. It is a very European thing.
