Does any one know the difference between the G28 and G28-Z. Steel receiver? Over the beach capable (OTB)? Toolless gas regulator for suppressed fire?

Considering the one in the ad comes as shown for 10000 euro 28 seems a bit high for a base unit .

I believe E is the bare rifle , the E2 is the DMR and has the 3-20SB. The E3 is the patrol version and has a 1-8 SB.
Not sure what the Z means but it could be the package scope is not a mil spec.

Another fine HK firearm for our government to mark restricted. The G36 conversion still seems to be the way to go for a non restricted HK rifle. In fact the SL8 is the only HK firearm that I can think of that is non restricted. This being said the G28Z deserves a look as it meets the requirements of the 3 gun He-man division of which I am now shooting an HK USC.
