    Pistol Bay Closures

    Good afternoon Canadian Gunnutz,

Just to let folks know, we are not going to be able to accommodate unlicensed walk-in guests tonight starting at 6pm due to a large booked group, coinciding with our monthly running of the Basic Handgun Skills course. With these two events happening at the same time, both of the pistol bays and our Range Officers are going to be tied up for the evening. Fully licensed members and fully licensed walk-in guests will be able to use the rifle bay during this time, but space is limited.

    Thank-you for your understanding,

    Colin D

Glad you e-mailed this to your members. Oh yes, you didn't. Just like the IPSC match about a month ago, when two of the remaining pistol lanes were broken so there was almost nothing available to members.
Great job, you guys are really earning my renewal this year.....

    Good morning,

This is an issue we are addressing with a new Member's Coordinator, who was unfortunately out of the office when this issue came to like yesterday. Please email members@theshootingedge.com to ensure that your email is properly activated with them, and we hope to avoid such oversights in the future.

    Thanks

I agree with your anger and annoyance 100%

We completely #### the bed on this and deserve ridicule.

We are working on a much better system to inform our members about these things. I was particularly annoyed over the IPSC lack of notification.

As an FYI.... we will be notifying everyone soon in regards to a week long pistol bay shutdown: we are replacing the entire pistol HVAC and lighting.

Once we have firm dates, we will spread the word far and wide.

Thanks for Owning it JR. Thats a frustration I have had in the past also. Driving in and discovering that stuff going on and the bays all closed or reduced. Shoe horning 20 people into 5 bays in the rifle area, feeling rushed. Almost as frustrating as bringing everything in and finding out you left your keys to the trigger locks on the ledge inside the front door of your house lol

    #### happens but a better system of notifying people is great. Sure I could call, but I shouldnt have to. Sure I could check CGN, but I shouldnt have to.
