LOL yeah I'll be rocking the hong kong.

Hehe I just looked at my bank statement, I already paid for PR2, getting a little too excited and ahead of myself.

GREAT NEWS !!! After years of trying its official and now have ALOT more allowed calibres to use on Garrison Petawawa .
Big thanks goes out to CanuckR for getting this done !
The following list is in addition to the ones we were already are allowed to use ...ie 338LM
As well we have a solution for the clubs RSO problems due to the military adopting new regulations regarding who can be an RSO on base.
I am meeting this weekend to work out the details but things are looking really promising for the firearm community up here .

Thanks to chalkriver2.1 for doing all this caliber changing and I know it's not been a bowl of cherries to pursue. It's all done now and with the added approved calibers we can get more PR shooters out to stretch the legs, so to speak. It's all great...

    Cheers,

    Barney

Well I have good and bad news for those bringing their trusted SKS and Mosin Nagant home made sniper rifles to Petawawa ...
We just got the use of 7.62 x39 back but its bigger brother the 7.62 x54R requires the use of a 50 cal template ?

Woohoo! Big thanks to Chalkriver2 and range control for getting more calibers approved. Admittedly I would be slightly more enthused had I not just got a 1500 round load of Sierra match kings in .308. Oh well guess I will just have to shoot more to knock the pile down! Hoping to make it out in June!
