armalite safety selector right side notch

As I can't tell from the pics, Would like to know if this safety lever has a "v" notch on the right side like on this pic?

On the rifle I checked it is just a straight line not a V.

Dangit!! I was going to ask the exact same question.

My Armalite has the more v notch but it's at least fifteen yrs old.

Do you have any selectors with the v? Looking for one for a C8 clone and don't want to rob the one I have.

Is there any way to please check just safety lever part for sale as it could be different from what armalite put on a complete rifle.
The notch could be different and also lever in the website's pics shows it's a short lever.

The Armalite has the U notch not a V and the selector lever itself extends 3/4 way through the pivot, not like the picture.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. The photo on the website is very misleading though.

Due to supply, demand and availability manufactures may change the source of some of their small parts to maintain production targets. This may on some occasions result in minor changes, it would be impossible for us to keep up with all of these changes. If the change was significant we would endeavor to make a correction. If you are building a pet project and want an exact design it is always best to check for a photo first.

    Thanks for your understanding.
