Geissele Automatics - Super 42 Braided Wire Buffer Spring and Buffer Combo - In stock

New from Geissele Automatics. In stock and shipping.

Super 42 Braided Wire Buffer Spring and Buffer Combo

The Geissele Super 42 Spring was designed to improve the function and reliability of your AR-15 pattern rifle. Its unique spring design uses three independent strands of wire, just like the German MG42 Machine Gun. This concept acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber by allowing the springs to flex separately from each other. This flex helps displace excess energy which decreases the chance of spring failure and assists with making your AR-15 more reliable.

A meaningful upgrade to any carbine stock AR15.

Looks good AE. Is the spring offered as a separate product for those who already have an H1 buffer?

    Thanks webman1,

Due to the braided spring, no GA buffers wont fit. Must do the spring/buffer combo.

Bought one of these last week, with some other parts - first parts to arrive of my build. Thanks AE - prompt service appreciated.

Hope you can offer some impression on this item once you test it. I'm new to ARs and slinky-toy sounds with weird vibration to cheek is something I'd love to "correct".

Will you guys be selling the individual tungsten buffer weights? Just bought the combo and wouldn't mind trying a heavier buffer

    Hi tma951,
Yes we are, and please do. S42 Tungsten Weights just arrived and are now listed on the website. S42 comes as a H1 buffer. One extra tungsten weight is required for H2. Two weights for H3. Tungsten weights are available individually or as selectable addition to the S42 listing.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know.

I just finished my first AR build (Colt lower, Colt 10.5 upper, Hera CQR furniture) using the S42. Had it at the range today and everything worked smoothly as configured (H1).
Still partial to the German, rather than Austrian, varietals.
