I'm happy with my 1-6, I'll probly look at picking up a 1-8 as well. The bad reviews are folks trying to compare them with $1000 plus optics.

I just looked at my 1-6. But this time REALLY looking through it. And i can sorta sense the fish eye stuff on x1... its hard to notice unless you really look for it and focus on it but its certainly there. But again for this price point the scope is a great buy.

Got mine a week ago. For anyone in SK near Regina who wants to take a look through it shoot me a message. I'm happy to help. I'll omit the pros the only con I've found is the eyebox on max power (actually 6x and up) is kind of unforgiving you have to really be in the right spot to have a good sight picture. Other than that, I'm really happy with it. The glass is good for what it is and the fish eye is much better than the 1-6 (looks to me).
