    Chiappa little badger caliber options

Are you guys the Canadian importer for Chiappa? What are the chances that the little badger could be produced in some other calibers? Maybe 223 or some pistol calibers? Thanks

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the action isn't designed for centerfire bolt thrust forces. There is a .17 HMR version in the US but the importer seems silent on the prospect of bringing that into Canada.

I hope you mean the 17 WSM, not 17 HMR.
Even if they aren't talking about the Canadian market. I will buy one out of the state's.
I've developed a love/addiction to 17 WSM. My Ruger 77/17 WSM out shoots all 3 of my 17 HMR, hands down.

my vote would be for a double badger with both barrels in the .410 department...my squirrel hunting/clay shooting girls would go gaga for that configuration.

.357 mag, you need an H&R or NEF. The "Little Badger" wouldn't be very "Little" after re-engineering it for .357 mag....? Even .17 WSM, as in the comment above, would be a stretch (17WSM@33000 psi vs 17HMR@26000 psi).

Well, then scaled up just enough for factory pressure .357. They make alloy frame revolvers for it, it can be done with steel. Working in an engineering'ish field has shown me what some of our tough alloys are capable of.
