All you need a conversion barrel, a new slide is not necessary.

You can apply this whole slide to a G22 Gen 3 and run 9mm through it.

As Phil says, you can also just get a 40-9 conversion barrel. If you go that way, I suggest you also get a lighter spring than the stock G22 spring or you'll have issues.
