In another thread I had asked about a certain miniaction in .222 Rem:

    Model # HMA60102KHC+

    • 222 Rem
    • 22" #2 Barrel
    • Kryptek Highlander camo

I did not hear back about it, and didn't really think much more about it, as I was too busy to be hunting Coyotes at the time anyhow. In any case, I thought I might follow up on this and see if I could get one ordered in (assuming you don't have one in stock).

    All right roadglide,

You've had a month - how about an update or a mini review on your Howa Grendel? Used to have a Weatherby Vanguard 2 in 308 which, as you know, is manufactured by Howa which was a good rifle. Expect you're enjoying this one, would love to hear how's it been and see some pics.

    Thanks,

the firearm blog did a review of both calibers recently
grendel was a bit flakey loading from the mag but otherwise good
    7.62x39 was flawless loading
they were able to hit 1000 yard shots with 7.62x39
not that it's usable hunting wise that far out, but it was very accurate at that distance
they said for 400-500 yard shots or less the 7.62x39 was actually fairly accurate, about 1.5 moa with off the shelf ammo

    grendel under 1 moa
