DA50 Shorties.. What barrel length?!

We've had a few requests for DA50 Shorties.

What barrel length would you prefer? 22", 20", 18.5"?

Even shorter! A 16" or even 12.5" would be an awesome little range toy. Likely useless for what a .50BMG is capable of, but a super short Boomstick like that would be crazy fun at the range.

Without crunching numbers 22' sounds a lot more handy to me.

a 50bmg in short barrel.. WTF are you people smoking??? seriously... that's as good as a 40cal hi point.... complete waste of resources that could be used to make useful 28 or 32 inch rifles...

18.5 would look amazing but then you don't even get the near full capabilities of the .50BMG. 22 is short that its still cool and a little more useful.

Anything close to 20" is fine to me. As long as it stays non-restricted!

Sometimes its just about having some ridiculous fun with a massive cartridge in a short barrel. Same reason people like the BFR .45-70 revolver. I would buy a 12.5" DA-50 the day they were available just for ####s. With a red dot you could probably have no problem ringing steel at 100 yards, and set fire to the targets at 50!
