    Kids starting fires

Spent the weekend with my girlfriend and we figured it would be a great weekend for some survival skills for her boys.

So the pellet rifle and the firestarters came out. We went through a ton of pellets and got a couple fires going.

We used the Strikeforce Fire Starter from UST which can be found here on our website.

After we threw some dryer lint in the pile, the boys were able to start the fires right away. Such a rewarding experience for everyone.

Please note, my opinion could be biased based on past and present employment

I remember as a kid I found a huge glass lens in the garbage and that thing was so powerful it used to light paper on fire in seconds!

Even that's cheating. Whatever happened to banging two rocks together and hoping for the best?

Good for you. The kids are always involved in fire making when we camp or go on day trips. Dryer lint is awesome for starting a fire with a spark.

Did you also walk 200 miles, over 1 mountain and across 2 rivers to go to school, just to see Ms. Palmer's huge ti.... I mean get a better education?

I remember camping with my Dad and Uncle. Kids were expected to deal with the fire and food... beer was a man's job.
