    Looks much to big to be any sort of revolver, my guess would be some antique ship gun along the lines of the Puckle Gun.

    How about a size reference pic. Put your hand beside it, or something and take another pic so we can better estimate of size.

    I'm almost tempted to go with the puckle gun theory like crewe, but it seems to not have any flashholes or other methods of setting off charge, but appears to have some opening that leads to seperate breech.
    Are you familiar with The Shmoo, Mr. Fisher?
