Sounds like a great idea. Is there a link to the news about the AR-15 documents you are speaking about.

I would wager big money if this price change was don't to 2500-3k you would sell a handful more and that is all. Unless you break the 2k barrier I would be shocked if it was worth the production change for you. Just being honest from the Canadian market standpoint I don't see a 300-500 discount changing your buyers market.

I would be interested to find out how much you could shave of the base price.
If you can get to a $2200 price point you would dominate the Canadian market.
Very interested and also wonder if one can upgrade later on.
I would strongly consider this. Better yet offer it with no furniture or Gucci parts, we can source our own stocks.
Sounds.... rather intriguing.
I would like to see what price reduction would be available, but if you could build a "rack grade" model that was built prior to order like most manufactures so you could do a run of 100 rifles at a time that should reduce price just on efficiency and economy of scale alone not to mention the savings on parts. Should be able to hit $2500 a piece or better hadn't you? This would make you very competitively priced and take the "boutique" stigma away.
