    Range bag?

    Hi guys

Just picking up my first gun tonight but have a question about the "range bag". How does this work? As far as my understanding goes, we have to transport the restricted firearms in a sturdy non see-through locked container. Do range bags qualify as such? I have a nice plastic container made for the job, but it's not a "range bag". How do people use range bags? If I can't transport in those and I can't take the firearm out until I'm at the firing line, when and how do I use a range bag?

I just stuff my sturdy non see-through locked container into the pocket on my range bag, along with mags, hearing pro, tools, etc., and throw the bag in the trunk.

I use my range bag to carry ammo, ear/eye pro, and a tiny cleaning kit. Guns go into a hard case.

Wouldn't it just be so easy if we could toss pistols into the bag too?

This...and anything else you'd need that will fit. Stapler, shot timer, bug spray, sun screen...etc.
