Question of the day. Desert Ordnance built them in the classic Vietnam config. they had a 22" barrel on them, would it be non-restricted due to barrel length? What does the parent FRT say?

My all time favourite firearm. I'd love a Vietnam era M60 and or one of those new fancy M60e6. Non restricted would be sick with the older 22" barrel. Tagged for interest.
I was wounded by a machine gun, it looks really UZI

There were two M60 imported with most of the firearms from Full Metal Jacket. They were converted to semi in England. One was sold to the natives which reconverted it. The other one, I don't remember to whom. It could be with the guy on the South Shore that provides firearms to the movie industry here in Montreal.

I know this is an older post buuuuuut....
If anyone is in BC and interested in firing this beast, they have it at "The Range" in Langley! My wonderful wife took me to shoot it. She couldn't stop throwing money at it to get it really warmed up.
No jams, super smooth recoil, great sight on it.
My only issue was that they wouldn't let me load it. The safety has a bit of give at the far end of the fire select but otherwise, this thing is an amazing beast.

Jeez, if you are not impressed with what is available to the Canadian public, I would be happy to let you pay for my flight, hotel, and food to go to a country where they let you shoot a 'real one.'

i happened to visit the chu chi tunnel in vietnam last december when i heard gun fire, i made a "B" line to the small range.

all the weapons were semi except for the m60 and 30cal mmg, i chose the m60, what a rush? unfortunately i could only afford 20 rounds.

You can always go to Battlefield Vegas and get full M60 experience at $2.5 per round while your family is watching a circus show at the Casino.

I personally would love to try their SMG collection.

They're great. I really wanted to crush a car with an M1 Abrams, but didn't have the spare $2000.
