    Introducing the Heathen-Lite Muzzle Brake!

We would like to introduce The Heathen-Lite Muzzle Brake !

The exact same design and dimensions that have made this brake famous.

Made from Aluminum Alloy and a proprietary surface-hardening, this brake reduces the weight of its steel counterpart by nearly two thirds!

We have been running this brake in comps for the last year as well as testing on rifles up to the 300 Norma with excellent results - This is exciting news especially for the guys wanting to save weight on that Carbon Fiber Wrapped-barrel light-weight hunting rifle.

This is a weight comparison of our original steel brake and then our Heathen-Lite:

    std steel
    .750 dia Heathen = 2 oz / 54g

    .885 dia Heathen = 3.2 oz / 90.7g
    .995 dia Heathen = 4.5 oz / 127.5g

    Heathen-Lite:
    .750 dia Heathen = 0.7 oz / 19.9g
    .885 dia Heathen = 1.1 oz / 31.2g
    .995 dia Heathen = 1.6 oz / 45.4g

I actually got them from Bullseye London, they are both the .885 with 5/8x24 in 6.5, not a huge deal one is for a future build I'm gathering parts for, next time I'm in Lloyd I'll stop by the shop and maybe you guys can swap I out if that works even though I didn't get it direct, I've been meaning to check your shop out anyway.

There is another post about some other aluminium brake..and they showed it all eroded and said it lasted very few rounds. Is it this special treatment you use that prevents that from occurring? I was under the impression that the aluminium would melt regardless of surface since its so thin a coating.

Newb question, do these need timed by a smith or is it self install?
