Info from the Ontario CFO today, March 30 was they were working on March 5..

Holy crap one whole month. No wonder my March 8’ private is not moving.
The lady answered phone told me private and business transfers are in different piles.
No necessarily one has priority over the other. But I don’t believe it.
Emailed CFOON today about my transfer.
Got a reply in about an hour.
Reply was they are working on March 13/22 transfers.
The 13th was a Sunday. I know this because I made a restricted retail purchase on the 12th and the CFO-ON had received it from the dealer on Monday the 14th. That means my transfer will probably come through in the next couple of days.
Of course that only means I'll be able to pick it up and take it home. I'll still have to wait for the registration certificate to come in the mail before I can take it to the range.

Newbie PAL/RPAL holder here... may I ask if using the Silvercore membership to buy restricted firearm is still a valid way in Ontario?

You don't have to have a membership of any ranges in Ontario to buy a restricted firearm.
