I called the CFO today about a transfer that was initiated on 27 Mar. I was told that for transfers involving a business they are working on transfers initiated 22 Mar. Mine hasn’t been assigned to anyone yet and I still have about a week to go. Apparently there’s a backlog, but I’m not sure if it’s always this long you can still call it a backlog.
The wait times will be pretty bad these couple of weeks.
The sales from Firearms Outlet Canada Inc has caused a large backlog of request for transfers.
The sale was March 24th weekend and probably will take well into May for those to settle.
I got myself some stuff from the sale. I think it might take 6 weeks.

waiting on my np 34, one week so far...
March 8 was finalized on March 28. The last two transfers were completed in 20 days. My most recent was initiated April 27. With the latest action from the CFO I'm very curious to see what the processing times are going to look like.

And this is in Ontario...
If I am in Saskatchewan and purchase a used pistol from someone in Ontario, is it the ONT or SK office that does it? As in, do I get the fast SK office or the slow ONT office?
