I shot my new CMMG bravo a couple weeks ago. Shot about 150rds of 36gr CCI Mini Mag and 150rds of 40gr CCI Mini Mag out of my Colt 6920 16" not free floated, 3x Vortex Spitfire, and Triggertech set at 2.5Lbs. My buddy also put 50rds of Federal cheapo stuff through his Norinco CQB. Both rifles have 1/7"

He's blind as a bat so I won't comment on his groups with the Norinco.

I was consistent with either CCI round.

    At 40M I was getting 3" 20rd groups.
    At 100M I was getting 8" 20rd groups.

The 40gr hit abut 1/2" lower at 40M and 2" lower at 100M.

We had 5 stoppages in total. Each was expected as I did what I had read would cause them and so duplicated that activity to see for myself.
1 Stoppage of FTF from resting the rifle on the mag. Happened on the 5th round this way.
2 Stoppage of FTE from running the rifle to fast. Much faster than would be done in 223. Therefore I am not concerned as it would be impractical training anyway.
1 Stoppage of FTE where the case was jammed up in the charging handle. They make a charging handle to stop this but I will hold off till this becomes common.
1 Missfire of the Federal crap. Typical of the ammo in any 22 I have. This was in his Norinco.

After every 100rds I would shoot a 5 shot group of 223 to help blast out any 22lr fouling that could be developing at the gas port.
Each of the 5 shot 223 groups continued to print the usual 1 MOA my handloads pull off. This verifies the use of the 22lr is not adversely fouling the barrel and hurting accuracy.

Overall it is not as accurate as a dedicated 1/16" 22lr like my Marlin 70 that prints 2" at 40M and 5" at 100M but hey it isn't half as bad as people say it would be in the 1/7"

My only regret is not buying the original Atchisson/Ceiner models this is a copy of (but stainless and chromed now) 30years ago for my first AR15.

Very pleased. Now go buy one.

Sorry, I am 100% ar ignorant. Would this conversion kit potentially work with the new WK-180 from wolverine? I'd jump on this if that was the case.

I'm afraid not. They should work in the guns built off the various receivers new coming out from Maccabee, ATRS, and BCL if built as 223/5.56.

Do these kits support last round bolt hold open?

Kind of. The regular bolt hold open device is not utilized but the bolt is held back by the follower. When you remove the mag the bolt slams forward. Still better than dry firing a rimfire.
