    I went with a short gas block and a new rail on mine from True North Arms.....was a pretty easy swap.

    Yes, it takes the 0.75. I went the the steel version (also from TNA). If you end up going with the exact same rail, it requires a 1 1/16 crowsfoot wrench to install it.

    Try calling, they might have a question that they are to busy to contact you about. I was able to email the person that did my last transfer and check status. She did mine the next day. Bought it on the 19th, took it home on the 24th.

    Why does it "require" one? I ask as I'm looking at handguard options and have a few different socket and wrench kits. I assume there is a tight spot only it fits into?

    I like to see this as I bought mine on the 12 and still waiting, hasn't even been assigned to an agent as of yesterday.
