    Handgun Registration

Just so I am clear. If I buy a handgun from a store I need my registration before I can transport it from the store to my home. Correct? (I already have the ATT conditions on my RPAL).

No, you just need the transfer notification, once you have that, you are good to pick up the gun. The actual registration will arrive in the mail usually 2-3 weeks after the transfer notification. You can't take the gun to the range until you have the registration, although many will say differently, and that once the gun is transferred to you that you can take it. I err on the side of caution and wait for the regi before I take mine, but that's just my interpretation of the law
