    sks trigger job

to ALL you sks owners out there-trying to pull a heavy/ugly stock trigger that breaks at @ 2x the weight of the entire {!! } rifle-immediately send your trigger group to hi-cal for their trigger job-just got mine back today-took longer in transit than to do the work ! haven't taken to range yet-but improvement is immense !

now-to see if they can do the same to my 870 trigger...??

    Thanks again-Gregg

You can get a sear that comes from Brownells, 3 springs for 2/3/4 lb. pull...you choose...and easy to install on your 870...congrats on the smiths at High Cal for making the nasty SKS trigger decent!
PRACTICE, so there'll only be a Singleshotneeded! :-)

How much did it run you if you don't mind me asking.
The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.

$99-and they only need the trigger group-not the whole firearm...

You can do your own trigger job at home with only a hammer, punch and some sandpaper (fine). I have done many for myself and friends.

I wouldnt recommend messing around with your sear unless you have some experience with modifying firearms safely. Specially not a trigger job that could essentially turn into an ugly mishap at the range. Get a gunsmith or the guys at hical to do it.

Hical did a bunch of work on my sks. Trigger job, magwell adapter install, and trimmed the barrel down for me. I think I might own the worlds most expensive bubba sks now. So worth it though.

What it cost to cut the barrel down?
