Hi HalifaxArmyNavyStore,
I'm looking for my first bolt action military surplus rifle, preferably chambered in something that has ammo available and doesn't not require reloading, as I'm not into that (yet).
Any recommendations?
Regards,
Shannon

Depending on what is available ammo-wise at your local gun store, Mosin Nagants are possibly a solid choice. Anything in .303 British (like Lee Enfields, or Ross rifles) would be easy to find ammunition for as well.
If you are looking for something with a bit less recoil, rechambered Mausers in .308/7.62 NATO a good choice, as well as Swedish Mausers in 6.5x55.
At the end of the day each one would have pros and cons - depending on how much you plan to shoot, desired accuracy/precision, or variety of available ammunition.
We are always happy to answer any questions!
