Company submitting for an FRT is Trigger Wholesale, dont know if any contracts for distribution or retail have been made, but it would be safe to assume TW should have some sort of contract in place to protect themselves from other importers profiting off of their efforts like Can Am has had.

Fingers crossed it's not prohibited. I need my AUG variant.

If this will be NR then its no "AUG variant"... Think about that. If everyone calls it that, then thats what it must be, right? Seemed to work for the .22LR "MP5 variant" even though its very different than an MP5 as far as mechanical function.
I am with you though that this is a much wanted rifle for my collection! I'd liken it to a Type 97 with a few improvements- as long as its a variant of a current NR rifle.
